CBD Hasn’t Worked for You in the Past? Here Are 3 Reasons Why…

So many CBD products have hit the market in the last few years; different brands, gummies, bath bombs, lollipops, infused beverages, etc. Maybe you’ve tried them only to be disappointed. If you feel let down by the CBD products you’ve used in the past, we may be able to provide you with some helpful information to make them (or ours) more effective, delivering the health benefits you’re seeking.
First and foremost…CONSISTENCY IS KEY! Taking a daily dose of CBD is the absolute best way to stimulate the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) to produce more endocannabinoids – neurotransmitters that naturally help regulate functions in our health and with disease. The more regularly your body receives CBD, the more it anticipates it, continues to regulate itself, and triggers production of its own cannabinoids. Take it daily and give it time (usually 7-10 days) to start working. Start with the Harvey’s All Naturals recommended dose of 4-5 drops daily and adjust as necessary.
Second, HOW you take your CBD is incredibly important. New products on the market like gummies, lollipops and infused beverages can be found almost anywhere. These seem fun, but they don’t offer optimal delivery of CBD to your body. Eating or drinking your CBD means it has to go through the digestive system causing it to lose effectiveness as it travels to your stomach where it’s processed in acids. Taking CBD oil under the tongue improves the bioavailability of the product, essentially how much of the CBD actually enters your bloodstream to interact with the ECS.
Lastly, the QUALITY of your CBD product matters if you’re looking for true health benefits. There are, unfortunately, a lot of sub-par products on the market. That $20 bottle from the local gas station probably has little-to-no CBD. Other brands import their CBD oil so it’s difficult to tell what’s in them, and what’s not. Always look at a brand’s Certificate of Analysis (COA) to determine the quality of the CBD. Trusted brands should have it prominently placed on their website – if not, question their quality and continue searching for the product that’s right for you.
